Share:

Terberg Special Vehicles has launched its latest generation of electric terminal tractors, expanding its zero-emission portfolio for ports, logistics hubs, and industrial operations. The debut included the official introduction of the new YT201EV model alongside an upgraded version of the YT203EV. These vehicles are designed to support the transition to sustainable operations without compromising performance, featuring drivelines comparable to diesel engines and compliance with international ECE-R100 rev. 3 safety standards.

The new YT201EV, produced at the Pasir Gudang facility in Malaysia, is specifically tailored for East and South markets and features a redesigned engineering platform to enhance reliability and serviceability. Both models utilize lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology, offering a 310 kWh option for multi-shift work and a 155 kWh variant for lower-duty applications. The tractors also include a larger, ergonomic cab with improved visibility and the Terberg Connect telematics system as standard for proactive fleet monitoring and maintenance.

This global launch marks the 20th anniversary of Terberg Tractors Malaysia, which has become a primary production hub with a capacity exceeding 1,000 units annually.
