Kuehne+Nagel has initiated the development of a new 20,000 m2 container freight station in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with completion slated for June 2027. This facility will more than triple the company’s local capacity, bolstering supply chain support for the consumer goods industry and enhancing trade connectivity between Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Located near major transport hubs, including the Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville autonomous ports, the site is designed to optimize cargo consolidation and handling. The warehouse will feature a floor loading capacity of 5 tonnes per m2 and will be constructed with a focus on sustainability, integrating solar panels, led lighting, and water management infrastructure.
