Huisman has secured a significant contract to deliver twelve additional Automated Stacking Cranes (ASCs) to the ECT Delta terminal in Rotterdam. This order follows a previous agreement, bringing the total number of new-generation Huisman ASCs for the terminal to 22. This expansion is a critical component of Hutchison Ports ECT Rotterdam’s ongoing modernization program, aimed at reinforcing its position as one of the most technologically advanced and efficient container gateways in Europe.
The new cranes are designed to maximize terminal capacity and operational efficiency through high-level automation and a lightweight structural design.
