HAROPA PORT has reaffirmed its status as a premier hub for French grain, handling 8.4m tonnes through its Rouen terminals during the 2025/2026 marketing year. This performance represents a 61% increase over the previous campaign and surpasses the ten-year average of 7.4m tonnes, securing more than 50% of France’s total seaborne grain exports despite regional competition.
The export volume was primarily driven by 5.6m tonnes of milling wheat and 2.6m tonnes of barley, with an additional 0.6m tonnes consisting of oilseeds, protein crops, and malt. These goods reached 41 countries, led by Morocco with 2.6m tonnes, followed by China and Côte d’Ivoire. To support this ongoing demand, the port has expanded its infrastructure, including a new 55,000-tonne capacity grain silo at the Petit-Couronne terminal.
