Gulftainer Unveils 10m TEU Capacity Infrastructure Plan

Share:

Gulftainer has unveiled a major strategic transformation to become a global trade infrastructure company, integrating ports, shipping, inland logistics, and AI-powered supply chains into a unified platform.

The strategy centers on four business platforms: GT Ports, GT Logistics, GT Parks, and GT Maritime. Key infrastructure milestones include expanding the Khorfakkan Commercial Terminal toward a long-term capacity exceeding 10m TEUs, complemented by 2.3m TEUs of inland capacity across the Al Dhaid and Sajaa Logistics Parks. These developments will be supported by an AI-driven digital platform to improve supply chain visibility and efficiency.

This initiative aims to connect the UAE with the Indian Subcontinent, China, East Africa, and the GCC, transitioning the company from a traditional port operator into a comprehensive provider of resilient, end-to-end logistics solutions. By leveraging these assets, the company intends to facilitate faster cargo movement and support emerging trade corridors like the India-Middle East Economic Corridor and China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
