GENMA has handed over four rubber-tired gantry (RTG) cranes to CTIC at Songkhla Port in Thailand. The delivery, marked by a recent handover ceremony, aims to enhance the port’s container handling capacity and operational efficiency. These units are now in service to support the increasing volume of import and export cargo in the southern region of Thailand.
The cranes were transported in knocked-down mode and fully assembled on-site by the GENMA team. In addition to assembly and system commissioning, the project included the integration of intelligent assistance systems, such as AGSS, TPS, and ATLS. These technologies were implemented to ensure that the equipment meets all performance and safety requirements for port operations.
