The Rhenus Group has successfully finalized the acquisition of the remaining 49 percent of shares in LBH Global Agencies Inc. from the Lagendijk family. This strategic move transitions LBH into a wholly-owned subsidiary, fulfilling a growth objective established when the two companies first partnered in 2023. The acquisition strengthens Rhenus’s global maritime and port logistics network by integrating LBH’s extensive international presence.
LBH Group operates as a global port agency with branches in 24 countries, managing vessel arrivals and departures for bulk, liquid, container, and break-bulk cargo. By combining LBH’s specialized port agency services with Rhenus’s international logistics infrastructure, the group aims to offer more comprehensive, resilient, and efficient supply chain solutions. Despite the change in ownership, LBH Group will continue to operate under its established brand name.
