KR Elevates Maritime Digital Services with AI-Integrated ‘SeaTrust Software Hub’

Share:

The Korean Register (KR) has officially launched its upgraded ‘SeaTrust Software Hub’, a sophisticated technical platform designed to streamline user accessibility and bolster customer support through AI integration. Acting as a unified digital knowledge center, the hub reorganizes KR’s technical software suite into a single interface where users can manage entire workflows—from downloading structural assessment tools like SeaTrust-HullScan to accessing web-based applications for route-specific calculations. This strategic upgrade aims to systematically accumulate operational expertise and technical knowledge in one centralized location.

The core of this advancement is a new AI-driven feedback processing system developed from extensive engineering documentation, user manuals, and historical correspondence. This system automatically analyzes and directs user inquiries to the appropriate teams while generating context-aware responses to ensure high-quality technical assistance. As the platform processes more data over time, the AI is expected to continuously improve the speed and accuracy of the support provided to shipyards, design companies, and container shipping operators.

By strengthening the link between user input and technology development, the SeaTrust Software Hub allows for faster responses to customer feedback and more efficient management of technical inquiries. KIM Daeheon, Executive Vice President of KR, noted that the platform is evolving beyond a simple software repository into a digital hub where technical expertise is shared and developed. The platform is currently accessible via the official SeaTrust and KR-DAON websites, providing a seamless bridge between operational experience and KR’s technical services.

SeaTrust Software Hub is available via the official website (https://www.seatrust.kr) and through KR-DAON (https://daon.krs.co.kr).
